GETTING STARTED

Quick start

StellarFlow is a local-first AI coding desktop workspace. The installers include the required runtime, so you do not need to install Node.js.

01 Download and install

Open the download center and choose your platform. Apple Silicon uses the latest stable build; Windows, Intel Mac, and Linux currently use the newest verified preview builds.

  1. macOS: open the .dmg and drag StellarFlow into Applications.
  2. Windows: run Setup-StellarFlow-*.exe and follow the installer.
  3. Linux: install the .deb, or extract the .tar.gz and run its launcher.

02 Start a trial or activate

On first launch, the app shows the trial or license state for the current device. Existing customers can paste license text or import a license file directly on the activation screen.

Device binding

One license covers one device. Major hardware or operating-system changes may produce a new machine ID.

03 Connect a model provider

Open Models at the bottom of the sidebar, choose a supported provider, then sign in or save an API key. Credentials are managed by the local pi Agent auth store; this website never receives them.

You may use your own provider. StellarMesh API is an optional unified access service.

04 Run your first task

  1. Create a session and choose a project directory.
  2. Confirm the model, thinking level, and tool access.
  3. Describe the outcome, then track progress through messages, tool calls, and file previews.
